NOTE: All the above dates are tentative and in case of any situation beyond
control, these dates may be changed at any time. Information about such
change(s), if any, will be given on the Department of Forests & Wildlife, Govt.
of NCT of Delhi website. Candidates are advised to remain in touch with the
website for information regarding this recruitment process and changes in the
schedule if any.
1. The number of vacancies indicated above may increase/decrease or even reduce to zero depending upon requirement and availability or non- availability of vacancies due to one or another reason(s).
2. If a candidate wants to apply for more than 1(one) post, he/she needs to apply separately for all such posts. In case of any clash in the test date/time for any two or more posts, candidates need to decide the test they would like to take. Department of Forests & Wildlife, Govt. of NCT of Delhi will not entertain any request for a change in test date/time later on. If a candidate opts to apply for more than one post, in that case, the separate application fee shall be payable for each and every application.
3. Candidates to ensure their eligibility for the post applied for: The candidates applying for the above posts should ensure that they fulfill all eligibility conditions for the post applied for. Their admission to all the stages of the examination will be purely provisional, subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. Mere issue of admit card to the candidate will not imply that his/her candidature has been finally cleared by the Department of Forests and Wildlife. The Department of Forests and Wildlife will take up verification of eligibility conditions with reference to original documents only after the candidate has qualified.
4. In case, the candidate does not fulfill the requisite prescribed qualification on or before the last date of submission of application, his/her candidature shall be rejected out rightly even though he/she qualifies the competitive examination conducted for recruitment.
5. If on verification at any time before or after the online computer-based examination test or physical test (as applicable) it is found that they do not fulfill any of the eligibility conditions; their candidature for the examination will be canceled by the Department of Forests & Wildlife. If any of their claims is found to be incorrect, they may render themselves liable to appropriate action by the Department of Forests & Wildlife, as deemed fit.
6. LAST DATE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATION(s): The online application can be filled and submitted in all respects up to 13th February 2020 11:59 PM after which the link will be deactivated.
7. The eligible candidates shall be issued an admit card three weeks before the commencement of the examination. The admit card will be made available on the Department of Forests & Wildlife website (http://forest.delhigovt.nic.in) for downloading by candidates. No, the admit card shall be sent by post.
8. FACILITATION COUNTER FOR GUIDANCE OF CANDIDATES: In case of any guidance/information/clarification regarding their application, candidature, etc. candidates can email at DOFWhelpdesk@gmail.com and/or contact Helpdesk (toll free number will appear on the instruction sheet) between 10:00 AM and 06:00 PM.
a) The candidate must be a citizen of India
b) The educational qualification, age, experience, etc as stipulated in The advertisement shall be determined as on the closing/last date of submission of online application.
a) Reservation benefits will be available to the EWS/SC/ST/OBC/and other special category candidates in accordance with the instructions/ orders / circulars issued from time to time by the Govt. of Delhi.
b) Candidates who wish to be considered against reserved vacancies and /or to seek age relaxation, must be in possession of relevant certificates (SC/ST/EWS/OBC/Non Creamy layer/Educational/Experience etc.) issued by the competent/notified authority on or before the cutoff date (closing date of advertisement) otherwise their claim for any category will not be entertained and their applications will be considered against Un-reserved (UR) category vacancies, if eligible otherwise. The candidate has to select that particular category when applying online for the post. No request for change of category will be entertained at any later stage.
c) Only OBC (Delhi) candidates will be given the benefit of reservation/age relaxation under the OBC category. OBC (Outside) candidates will be treated as Unreserved candidate and they must apply under UR category. The OBC candidates must be in possession of non-Creamy layer certificate, along with his/her caste certificate.
d) Only the following two types of certificates will be accepted as valid certificates for grant of benefit of reservation to OBCs:- (i)OBC certificate (Delhi) issued by the Revenue Department of GNCT of Delhi, on the basis of an old certificate issued to any member of the individual’s family from GNCT of Delhi.
